Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport is located 18 km west of the centre of Belgrade. It is the busiest airport in the region and handles more than 5 million passengers annually.
Travelling to and from the airport is easy, and there are a few options to choose from.
Airport bus
It is the cheapest and easiest way to travel between the airport and the city centre. In just 30 minutes, you will reach Slavija Square, one of the city's main squares and the main traffic route where all types of public transport services meet. The airport bus is called the A1 line and has two stops in the city centre: the station and Pariske Komune Street. This minibus runs every 20 minutes during the day, and every hour after 7:30 pm (7:30 pm), also at night. The ticket can be purchased directly on the bus and the price is 300 RSD (2.5 euros), but make sure you have the local currency, the Serbian dinars, as other currencies are not accepted.
Local bus
Bus line 72: If you need to reach the Zeleni Venac area in central Belgrade take bus line 72. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get there and the bus leaves every half hour. The ticket price is 150 RSD (1.2 EUR) if purchased on the bus and 89 RSD (0.7 EUR) if purchased at the newsstand.
Bus line 607: This line connects SurĨin to New Belgrade and stops at Nikola Tesla Airport. Buses leave several times a day and you can check the schedules here.
Transfer
If you wish to have more comfort, or you have a lot of suitcases, you can always book the door-to-door transfer to your accommodation in the Belgrade area.
Taxi services
Divided into 6 zones (serbo shingles) around the city, the taxi service can cost you from 14 to 60 EUR depending on your destination. To avoid being a victim of a scam, please proceed as follows: Go to the TAXI INFO office near the exit of the airport building. Tell the staff where you want to go (address or hotel / name of accommodation) and they will calculate the exact price and give you the voucher, with the specified amount. They will also show you where the available taxis are parked, so that you get in the right one.

All major car rental companies, such as Sixt, Avis, Budget, etc. have their offices at Nikola Tesla Airport, as well as some local car rental companies; here you can compare conditions and conditions as well as price. All car rental agencies are located in the international arrivals area of Terminal 2.
